Second Chance Outreach Ministry was started in 2015 by Pastor Joel Thompson with the heart and vision to serve those who were cast aside and forgotten.  Pastor Thompson spend many years assisting the homeless and drug addicts and teaching via radio and social media to reach people with a message that transformed his life.  Through God’s grace and power he was set free and transformed from addictions and a life of destruction.  He wanted to bring a tangible message of hope to those who felt hopeless, forgotten and cast aside by others.  

Pastor Thompson later married his wife Minister Tamara Thompson who has been instrumental in teaching via radio and social media along side her husband and she has assisted in building the organization and outreaches as the current operations manager.  She has a ministerial background and has a heart for serving humanity as a whole, especially the youth, those who are homeless and economically the disadvantaged.
